About Us

My name is Mike Cox, I am a 25-year Professional Chef. My Wife and I started Chef Mike’s Bacon Co. as a way to introduce ourselves to the YouTube Channel society. It has been my lifelong dream to own my own business, so we have pursued a food truck and will incorporate a learning show, filmed from the truck when time allows. I plan to show different skills, recipes, food innovation ideas, product lines, knives, clothing, etc., for the Cook or Chef within. This will be an incredible journey together where we can take many recipes I have created, and others I have used in the last 25 years and present them in a way that brings and will enhance the viewer's cooking skill in a more technological manner. 

We also have a passion to bring quality food to our community and surrounding areas. We at Chef Mike’s Bacon Co. feel we can not only bring a unique and diverse innovation to our food, but we will also be using innovative technology in our cooking as well as in the way we communicate with our customers. We will provide foods that are Locally sourced and prepared with a love and passion for the foods our customers enjoy. Our sauces will also be available to purchase for home use. Our goal is to serve the community and assist aspiring chefs in learning new skills through our Youtube Channel. 

Chef Mike's Bacon Co. will feature southern cuisine with a hint of bacon. This means that though not every item will contain bacon, much like the process of making good bacon, our food will have the same enjoyable process that will end with the same enjoyable experience for the consumer when they bite into that delicious piece of bacon. It is the process of creating food that inspired me to become a chef and the reason why I continue 25 years later.

 

Our mission at Chef Mike's Bacon Co. is to bring our passion for Food to Birmingham and surrounding communities with Southern Flair and Hospitality. You can count on a delicious menu with reasonable prices with a friendly and family-like atmosphere. 

Chef Mike’s Bacon Co. is not about one person, it's about a family. We desire to be a growing family of people who enjoy good food with a great presentation. Our memories will become your memories and vice versa. We hold to Christian Values and consider God to be the head of our company and we give him the Glory for every success.
